The mission of the Institute is to advance the understanding and application of FRP composites in the civil infrastructure, in the service of the engineering profession and society.

Welcome to the International Institute for Fiber-Reinforced Polymer in Construction (IIFC). IIFC is not just an organization; it is a dynamic international hub with a strong sense of community, dedicated to advance understanding and application of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites in civil engineering infrastructure.  Founded in 2003, our community thrives on the collaboration of forward-thinking researchers, students, industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from every corner of the globe. Together, we are united in our mission to propel the integration of FRP composites into civil engineering construction.
