The IIFC Best PhD Thesis Award was established by the IIFC Council in 2016 in association with the Composites in Civil Engineering (CICE) conference. The Award is given to an PhD thesis completed within two years after the nomination by three full IIFC members, the evaluation by the Award Panel, the presentation at a special session at the CICE conference, and the final selection by the IIFC ExCom. The winner will be offered a cash prize of 1000 US dollars and 2-year complementary IIFC membership.
